Pre-K Counts classrooms operate throughout the school year to provide high-quality preschool services to
4-year-olds at all elementary schools in York City. Research-based curriculum supports preschoolers’ intellectual, physical, social and emotional growth and helps children prepare to transition successfully into kindergarten. Children also receive developmental and health screenings, including dental, vision and hearing. In addition to the classrooms provided at York City School District buildings, Community Progress Council operates one Pre-K Counts classroom at its main office in York.
