Community Progress Council’s team of workforce development coaches use a holistic approach when addressing the needs of unemployed and under-employed residents of York County. Coaches work with individuals to help create a plan of action to attain family sustaining employment opportunities. Our team is able to provide or connect program participants with opportunities to enhance education, skills, and training that promotes employability.
HOW IT WORKS
After completing CPC’s intake and assessment process, a referral will be made for interested adults who have identified a readiness to engage in Workforce Development Program services. Those likely to be referred include those who have expressed interest and readiness to address barriers to achieving self-sufficiency through employment.
In an effort to integrate and coordinate services offered by Community Progress Council, Workforce Development Program coaches will work closely with the participant and their progress coach to ensure that the comprehensive needs of participant’s household are being met.
