Early Head Start

Early Head Start

As a result of the Covid-19 Pandemic, Community Progress Council’s Head Start and Early Head Start programs will be offered virtually until the end of 2020.

CPC’s team of educators felt that an online learning format would provide the safest environment for our young learners, their families and our staff.

Over the course of the next four months, teachers will be working with children remotely to ensure that they are making progress and taking the necessary steps to prepare for kindergarten. In addition, CPC’s team of family engagement specialists will continue to work with families to provide resources and help them navigate financial challenges as they arise.

In order to best serve children and families in this new environment, we will be starting our classes only with children and families who were previously enrolled in the last school year. We hope to add more families into our program later in the fall.

If you have reached out to CPC about enrolling your child this fall, we will keep your family on our waiting list and will contact you as soon as we are able.

If you have any questions about enrollment, please contact us at ersea@yorkcpc.org or (717) 846-4600.
