Kiuana Henderson is currently the Assistant Project Manager for Group Violence Intervention. As a proud York native, Kiuana’s love for her community and education started at CPC as a Head Start student. A graduate of York College of Pennsylvania, Kiuana was inspired to pursue a career in Human Services. Kiuana also helps people accomplish their goal of homeownership in her role as a local Realtor. Quarterly, Kiuana volunteers as a freelance makeup artist, providing makeovers to homeless women, on the Unstoppable You Conference tour.

Nancy Salgado holds a professional degree in business administration, with more than 15 years of experience on the private area working in Mexico for world class companies such as Motorola, Gammon Gold, Southco. She is AWE first generation graduated, a USA embassy special program for entrepreneur women in México, and a member of the Cd Juárez Entrepreneur Women Guild. Her family recently relocated from Chihuahua, Mexico to York, PA for her husband’s job offer at Harley Davidson. Nancy serves on CPC’s Family Progress Committee, formerly called Head Start’s Policy Council.

Melissa Rosario is a busy mom of two, ages 15 years and 14 months. She is the Co-Owner of Cornerstone Barbershop with her husband, Jason McGarry. Their shop is located in the WeCo district of York City, and Melissa volunteers as the district Merchant Coordinator. She is a YCDC Board member, and volunteers on the Project Committee for the Redevelopment Authority of the City of York. She also works as the Manager of Field Service Coordination at Metso. She is a proud YCP alum, but originally grew up in Chicago, Illinois. It was in Illinois, as a young mom, that she benefitted from many of the same programs offered at CPC.

Wayne Martin grew up in Baltimore, MD and attended Morgan State University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Currently, Wayne resides in York, PA with his wife, Lakeisa Martin, and two sons, Cameron and Roman. He serves as the President & Founder of MDS Engineering, best known as MDS. MDS is a certified DBE company whose mission is to provide top quality services as a knowledgeable and skilled DBE consultant within the public and private sectors. With this mission in mind, Wayne and the MDS team provide full professional engineering and design services as Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineers. He believes in helping others by providing opportunities and mentorship and is passionate about community involvement. Through MDS and his community service, Wayne would like to help grow youth STEM/STEAM programs in underserved communities. By bringing more awareness to the many benefits of youth STEM/STEAM programs, Wayne is confident in a brighter future for all. He is excited to be part of the CPC organization and looking forward to utilizing his personal background and experiences in life to help support the programs provided by the organization and the growth of CPC.
