Community Centers

Community Centers are located throughout York County and serve urban and rural residents who are low- to moderate-income. Emergency services are provided including food, clothing, heat and other basic needs.

Another exciting aspect of Community Centers is their commitment to assessing and addressing problems that lead to poverty.

Funding for our programs is varied. Individuals and utility companies provide money. The United Way of York County pays for some of our employee's salaries and other costs. The Department of Public Welfare supports the home energy assistance program. Most of our staff salaries and project costs are covered by the PA Department of Community and Economic Development.
