Certification Assistant - WIC

Exciting opportunity to improve nutritional status of pregnant/ lactating women and young children. Minimum requirements are an Associates degree in Nutrition or Health related field or an LPN or a Diabetic Technician and one year of related work experience. Duties include determining the eligibility of applicants, collecting nutritional data, performing blood tests and providing nutritional education using motivational learning techniques. Regular attendance is vital and must be willing to work with diverse population. Must be insured, licensed driver with own transportation for travel throughout York County. 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Hourly rates start at $11.00 depending on experience.

 

Fulltime Nutritionist - WIC

Exciting opportunity to improve nutritional status of pregnant/ lactating women and young children. Requires BS degree in Nutrition or Dietetics, or can be RN. Duties include nutrition education and determining the eligibility of applicants. Regular attendance is vital and must be willing to work with diverse population. Must be insured, licensed driver with own transportation for travel throughout York County. 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Hourly rates start at $14.50 depending on experience.

 

Assistant Teacher - Head Start

Individual responsible to provide a safe and secure learning environment for 3-5 year old children. Must be reliable in attendance and work with diverse individuals. Requires HS diploma or GED, related work experience, physical exam and Act 33 clearances. 31 hours per week, 41 weeks per year. Rate of pay varies depending upon level of education and experience.
